Does My Makeup Age Me? Let’s Fix That.

Been told I looked tired, angry, or older than I felt? Yep. Turns out my makeup was lowkey sabotaging me. Here’s what I’ve learned: Foundation: Heaping on thick base to hide spots and fine lines only made them worse. Now I use a sheer foundation and spot-conceal—especially under the eyes. Game-changer. Brows: Super dark or sharp-angled brows aged me fast. I switched to a soft arch and lighter gray-brown tones. One shade lighter than your hair? Chef’s kiss. Eyes: Smoky shadow + thick liner = harsh. I now use soft browns and dusty pinks. Tightline with brown gel and skip harsh lower liner—blend a little shimmer under the eyes instead. Blush: Placement matters. Too low = droopy. I go peachy and sweep upward. Lips: Harsh lines or vampy shades? No thanks. I blur the edges with a brush and stick to rosy nudes. It’s not about hiding age—it’s about highlighting energy. #beauty #makeup #SoftGlamOver30
