My cat thinks I'm bread dough apparently

You know that thing where your cat climbs onto your lap and starts doing this rhythmic pushing motion with their front paws? Like they're kneading invisible dough on your stomach? Yeah, that's called 'kneading' or 'making biscuits' and it's both adorable and mildly painful. Mine does this exclusively at 2AM when I'm trying to sleep. She'll hop onto my chest, give me those slow-blink 'I love you' eyes, then proceed to knead my ribs like she's preparing tomorrow's breakfast. The purring makes it worth the tiny claw punctures though. Apparently it's leftover behavior from when they were kittens massaging their mom for milk. So basically, your adult cat still sees you as their milk source. No pressure or anything.
