So here’s my dilemma: our office is closing for Easter, but apparently, it’s not a paid holiday. Everyone has to stay home, but we’re not getting paid for it. If it’s not a real holiday in the company’s eyes, why shut down at all? It just feels so confusing and honestly, a bit unfair. I was counting on those hours, and now I’m left wondering how to make up for the lost pay. Has anyone else dealt with this? What do you do when your workplace closes for a holiday but doesn’t actually treat it like one? I’d really appreciate any advice or thoughts on how to handle this situation. 😕 #WorkplaceConfusion #HolidayPay #CareerAdvice #JobCareer
