Joining a New Team Isn’t Always a Party 🎉

So, I just started at this new company, and everyone keeps saying, "Welcome to the team!" But honestly, I feel more like an outsider at a high school lunch table. The team already has their inside jokes, and I can barely remember everyone’s names, let alone figure out how to fit in. Every meeting, I worry about saying the wrong thing or looking clueless. I want to contribute, but I’m afraid of stepping on toes or being ignored. It’s like I’m stuck in this awkward limbo—should I speak up or just keep my head down?
