Southwest Finally Assigns Seats?!

SWA was amazing for decades by being different. Fun employees, no assigned seats, free bags, flexibility in changing flights with ease. It was my first choice for so many years. They could load a plane and take off in no time at all. Now they want to be like all of the other airlines. Sadly, they will fail. Herb Kellerher has got to be spinning in his grave. Recently my buddy took a flight from Houston to Dallas. He was offered one drink and then all was gathered up and no more were offered. FA’s said they didnt have time. I guess Houston has gotten closer to Dallas than it used to be. SMH

I have only flown on SWA since 2012. I like to pick my own seat. I usually get to sit on an exit row. Now you have to pay extra to get one of those seats. If I have to pay extra for my seat and pay for checking bags, I’m going to explore other options. ☹️

Bad move SW!! They'll be filing for bankruptcy before long! My allegiance to Southwest was just flushed down the toilet!

My loyalty went down the drain. Now I'll be flying with whoever is the least expensive because SW is just the same as the rest now. SW has gone up so high on their prices. I didn't mind because there were so many other perks but not any more!

Totally lost a loyal customer. First no 2 free bags. Now this. SWA IS no better than the rest! Shame on them.
