Cold Water, Quiet Mind: November in The Narrows

I always thought Zion was for summer. Turns out, November in The Narrows is just cold enough to make you pay attention. The water seeps through your rented boots, numbing your toes until you stop caring about anything but the next step. There’s no crowd, just the sound of your own breath echoing off the canyon walls. I remember slipping on a rock, cursing, then laughing because no one was there to see it. The river didn’t care if I was brave or just stubborn. I didn’t find clarity or peace—just a kind of raw focus that comes from being uncomfortable, alone, and a little bit lost. Sometimes that’s enough. #TravelWithoutFilters #OffSeasonTruth #SoloHiking #Travel
