Everyone raves about Ninh Binh—limestone cliffs, rice paddies, the boat rides that look unreal in photos. I did all of it. The sun was perfect, the food cheap, the views exactly like the postcards. But standing there, I felt weirdly invisible. I kept waiting for the moment I’d feel changed or grateful or whatever you’re supposed to feel when you finally make it somewhere beautiful. Instead, I just felt like a tourist with a camera roll full of proof I’d been there. Maybe that’s all it is sometimes. You go, you see, you leave. The world stays big. You stay small. #TravelConfessions #SoloTravelTruth #NotAlwaysTransformed #Travel
