Watkins Glen State Park is the kind of place that should knock the breath out of you. Everyone posts the waterfalls, the green carved stone, the way the light hits the mist. I took the same photos, stood in the same spots. But I barely remember the walk. I’d driven hours to get here, thinking a new view would shake something loose. Instead, I just felt tired. My shoes were wet, my phone was dying, and the only thing I could think about was how much I wanted to sit down. Sometimes you chase beauty and find out you’re just running from yourself. The gorge is still there, waiting. Maybe next time I’ll actually see it. #TravelConfessions #NatureFatigue #RealTravelMoments #Travel
