Left Out Because of Our Special Needs Son?! Family Drama Unfolds 😢

Lately, I’ve been feeling invisible in my own circle. My husband and I have a 3-year-old son with additional needs—he’s still learning to walk and talk, and we’re waiting on a diagnosis. Our friends’ son, B, is the same age and full of energy. We used to be so close with B’s family, always hanging out and watching the kids play together. But things changed when B’s mom became besties with a woman who doesn’t have kids. Suddenly, they’re always out on trips with her, even though they claim money’s tight. At a recent party, she invited everyone but us to a day out. Later, they asked if my husband and I wanted to go out at night—without our son. It hurts that they don’t want our whole family, especially our little boy, to join in. Am I wrong for not wanting to leave my son behind just to fit in?
