Last week, I was first in line at a red light when suddenly I saw flashing lights and heard sirens behind me. My heart raced—I wanted to do the right thing. I remembered my driving instructor once said it’s okay to carefully pull into the intersection if it’s safe, even if the light is red, to let emergency vehicles pass.
