Being the Boss Feels Like Being Invisible

Ever find yourself in a position where you’re supposed to lead, but no one seems to notice you’re in charge? That’s exactly where I am right now. I was put in charge of my team at work, but honestly, it feels like my title means nothing. I try to give direction, but my coworkers just keep doing their own thing, like I’m not even there. It’s frustrating and, honestly, a little embarrassing. I keep wondering if it’s because I’m younger than most of them, or if I just haven’t earned their respect yet. Has anyone else felt this way?
