Saying Goodbye to My Temporary Cat Roommate

So, it’s official: my time as a cat landlord is almost up. I’ve been fostering this little furball for weeks, and now it’s almost time to hand her over to the adoption center. I knew this was the deal from the start, but wow, it’s harder than I thought. She’s chewed through two phone chargers, learned how to open the treat drawer, and somehow convinced me that 3am is a perfectly reasonable time for zoomies. But she’s also the first to greet me when I get home, and her purrs are basically emotional support on four legs. I keep telling myself she’ll find her forever family, and I’ll get my sanity (and my chargers) back. Still, I’m going to miss her weird little face.
