I found the abandoned mill by accident, wedged between cliffs and overgrown with green, like the earth was trying to swallow it whole. Sorrento’s sun was loud, but down there it was all shadow and damp stone, a place for things left behind. I stood at the edge, phone in hand, not sure if I wanted to take a photo or just let it disappear. It looked like a memory I wasn’t supposed to keep—a reminder that not everything old gets turned into something beautiful for tourists. Sometimes, ruins just stay ruined. Sometimes, you do too. #TravelRealTalk #HiddenItaly #LostPlaces #Travel
