Is It Just Me, or Has Life Become Unrecognizable?

So I'm recently 37, and it feels like life just sped by. My age says one thing, but my mind hasn't caught up. Everything around me feels off—creepy, out of place, and so focused on money. We build boxes to live in, then turn them into investments, charging others just to survive. I tried searching for meaning in religion and near-death stories, but all I found were contradictions and more questions. Getting older feels scary, especially with society changing so fast.
