One thing my husband and I always talk about is what we truly want to pass down to our daughter. Of course, we hope she learns to be kind and honest, but more than anything, we want her to feel confident in who she is. Growing up, I struggled with self-doubt, and I remember my parents always encouraging me to trust myself. Now, as a mom, I find myself repeating those same words to my daughter—reminding her that her voice matters and that it’s okay to make mistakes.
