Is It Really a Promotion If No One Listens to Me?

So, here’s my situation: I’m a 25-year-old woman who just got bumped up to team lead at a marketing firm in Austin. Sounds great, right? But honestly, I feel like I’m invisible. My teammates—some of whom have been here way longer than me—just nod along when I talk, but I can tell they don’t take me seriously. 😓 I keep wondering if it’s because I’m younger than most of them, or maybe I haven’t earned their respect yet.
