I never thought being called a leader would feel this lonely. I’m working at a tech startup in Austin, and somehow, I got pushed into a team lead role before I even felt ready. Everyone says I’m in charge, but when it comes to making decisions, my ideas seem to float right past my team. The weirdest part is, I’m supposed to have authority, but it feels like nobody actually respects it. I’m starting to wonder if it’s because I’m younger than most of my team. It’s honestly making me doubt myself every day. Has anyone else been through this? How do you earn real respect when your title says one thing, but your team acts like you’re invisible? I’d love to hear how you handled it. 😔 #LeadershipStruggles #WorkplaceGrowth #TeamDynamics #JobCareer
