My current job pays me around $63k a year, but the real perk is the freedom: super chill environment, nobody micromanages, and I get a ton of time off. I can even work remotely from anywhere for weeks at a time, which is perfect since I love to travel. The career path is clear, and I can see myself moving up. But now, I’ve been offered a new job for $89k. Sounds great, right? Except the hours are rigid, the environment is strict, and I’d have to clock in and out like I’m in high school again.
