So here’s my situation: I just started working in New Jersey, and I’m still figuring things out. This week, I was only scheduled for two days, but both days I had to call out because of a family emergency. Now, when I go to certify for my hours, I’m honestly lost about what to put down. It feels like I’m invisible to my team. No one really knows me yet, and I’m worried they’ll think I’m unreliable. I want to do well, but I don’t know how to explain myself or even who to talk to about this. Has anyone else felt this way starting out?
