My boss got fired and he got mad at me😳

Ever had your boss get fired and suddenly, you’re the villain in their story? That’s exactly where I am right now. My manager, Lisa, was let go last week, and ever since, she’s been telling anyone who’ll listen that I’m the reason she lost her job. It’s wild because I never wanted this drama. Now, I’m dealing with side-eyes from coworkers and awkward silences in the break room. I’m honestly at a loss—should I confront Lisa, or just keep my head down and hope it blows over? Has anyone else been in this situation? I could really use some advice on how to handle being the accidental scapegoat. 😔 #workplaceconflict #careerstruggles #officedrama #JobCareer

Go to HR and tell them what she’s doing. They may be able to help by sending out a memo stating the woman was fired for X not y. And OP had nothing to do with it. I’d also get a lawyer and go after her for slander.

Tell her to grow up and take responsibility for herself!
