Why I’m Taking a Break From Learning to Drive

Learning to drive at 18 with autism has been way harder than I expected. My first lessons with my dad were stressful—lots of yelling, which made me super anxious. Even after passing driver’s ed, my nerves got worse during the road test. I failed twice, and now I’m honestly scared to try again.
