My First Accident: Holiday Embarrassment and Hard Lessons Learned

Ugh, this sucks so much, especially on Christmas Eve 😭😭 but I have to get it off my chest. I was dropping something off at my friend’s house and tried to back out of their driveway. In my panic to avoid hitting another car, I ended up scratching my friend’s parent’s car. Their reaction was intense—they thought I was trying to run! I felt awful and so embarrassed. My family had to help sort out the insurance mess, and I just broke down. Accidents happen, but I learned to always stay calm and check your surroundings. If you mess up, own it right away.
