My Cat Judges Me Harder Than My Mom

You ever feel like your pet is silently roasting you? Because my cat, Luna, has perfected the art of the side eye. I’ll be minding my own business, maybe dropping a snack on the floor (for the third time today), and there she is—perched on the couch, eyes narrowed, looking at me like I just failed a basic life skill test. It’s not just food, either. Try singing in the shower? Side eye. Attempt a TikTok dance? Double side eye. Honestly, I think she’s keeping a mental list of my daily embarrassments. Sometimes I wonder if she’s plotting to write a tell-all memoir: "Living With Humans: A Survivor’s Tale." Until then, I’ll just keep pretending I’m the boss in this house.
