So, I just found out that my company’s PTO and sick leave policy is, well, pretty embarrassing. I get a measly 5 days of PTO a year, and sick hours? Forget it—if you’re sick, you’re expected to just power through. Meanwhile, my friends at other companies are talking about unlimited PTO and mental health days. Am I missing something here, or is my workplace stuck in the Stone Age? It’s honestly making me question if I’m being unreasonable for wanting more time off to actually live my life.
