Just when you thought grilling season was safe—there’s a public health alert for ground beef sold at Whole Foods nationwide due to E. coli risk. If you’ve got 1-lb. packs of Organic Rancher Organic Ground Beef (85% lean, 15% fat, EST. 4027, use/freeze by 6/19/25 or 6/20/25), don’t eat it! The USDA says toss it or return it ASAP.
