I used to set a timer for 30 minutes every time I meditated, but recently I tried something different—I switched to a stopwatch. Without the expectation of a timer going off, I found myself relaxing more deeply and letting my intuition guide the session. I was surprised to see that when I finally checked the stopwatch, it was usually right around 30–35 minutes! It feels so much more natural and fulfilling.
