is this cucumber ready for harvest or should i wait for the perfect crunch?

Staring at my very first cucumber, I couldn’t decide if it was time to pick or let it keep growing. It looked so green and plump, but what if it needed a few more days? I kept checking every morning, gently squeezing it and comparing it to the ones I see at the store. I learned that cucumbers are best picked when they’re firm and about six inches long. If you wait too long, they can get bitter or full of seeds. So, I finally took the plunge and snipped it off the vine. The crunch was perfect!
