Last spring, I spotted a weird little sprout in my backyard. I almost pulled it out, thinking it was just another weed. But something about its leaves made me pause. I decided to let it grow and see what happened. Turns out, it was a sunflower! Watching it shoot up every day was so exciting. I started checking on it every morning, making sure it had enough water and sunlight. It became my little project. That sunflower ended up being the tallest plant in my garden, and it brought in so many bees and butterflies. Now, whenever I see an unfamiliar plant, I give it a chance before yanking it out.
