Overcoming Sudden Driving Anxiety After Years on the Road

Lately, driving has started to feel strange and overwhelming for me. After ten years behind the wheel, I suddenly get numb, tense, and almost feel like I’m watching the world through a screen. One day, it got so bad I had a panic attack on the highway and had to pull over. My family had to come get me. I never thought anxiety would affect my driving, but here I am. What’s helped me is taking breaks, practicing deep breathing, and talking to a professional. If you’re going through this, you’re not alone. Have you ever felt this way? dehydration is the key problem, sounds wacky but the next time you get anxiety power chug some water, snack on something salty too help absorb the water. yw
