Sometimes I wonder if everything we chase—success in sports, a great career, even our daily routines—comes down to wanting to be noticed by someone special. I used to pour my heart into running, thinking it was all about passion for the sport. But deep down, I realized I craved the attention and validation it brought from the opposite gender.
