how do you eat healthy living in hotels all week?

Last week, I spent five days hopping between hotel rooms for work interviews, and let me tell you, the struggle is real. The first night, I was so tired I just grabbed a burger and fries from the drive-thru next door. By day three, my stomach was begging for a home-cooked meal, but all I had was a tiny microwave and a mini fridge that barely fit a carton of milk. I tried to get creative—oatmeal packets for breakfast, salads from the grocery store, and microwaving those steamable veggie bags for dinner. But honestly, after a few days, everything started tasting bland, and I missed the simple joy of cooking my own food. I even looked up local breakfast spots and walked 20 minutes just to find out they were closed for renovations! Has anyone figured out how to keep eating healthy (and not lose your mind) when your kitchen is basically a microwave? Or maybe you’ve found ways to make hotel life feel a bit more like home, even if you’re living out of a suitcase? I’d love to hear what’s actually worked for you, especially if you’ve found any tricks that don’t involve eating fast food every night. I can’t be the only one who’s tired of microwaved eggs and soggy salads, right? #travelingforwork #hotelstruggles #healthyeating #Travel
