I’m in a bit of a pickle and could really use your advice. My current job is remote, super flexible, and my coworkers are honestly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The only downside? The pay caps out at $38k, and I know similar roles elsewhere offer $45k-$60k. I left a higher-paying job before because I was miserable, so I know firsthand how much a toxic environment can drain you. But now, even though I’m happy, I can’t help but wonder if I’m selling myself short financially. Should I risk leaving this supportive team for a fatter paycheck and the unknown? Or is it smarter to stick with the happiness I’ve found, even if my bank account isn’t as happy?
