is it possible to feel like a potato wizard after planting spuds?

Last month, I grabbed a bag of sprouting potatoes and thought, why not try growing my own food? I stuck a few in a big bucket with some dirt, making sure the eyes faced up. I kept the soil damp but not soaked. Every week, I piled on more dirt as the plants grew taller. It felt like a weird science experiment, but seeing those green shoots pop up was wild. I checked on them every morning, kind of like a proud plant parent. When the leaves started to yellow, I knew it was harvest time. Digging up those potatoes felt like finding buried treasure.
