Ever feel like your grown kids have turned into your personal security team? That’s my life right now. I’m a single mom with two adult daughters still living at home, and lately, it feels like I can’t make a move without their approval. I finally started dating again, hoping to find a little happiness for myself. But every time I step out, my daughters are on me—checking my location, questioning where I’m going, and if I turn off the app, my phone blows up with messages. If I even think about inviting someone over, it’s a full-blown intervention. What’s worse? If I try to talk to them, they run to their grandma, and suddenly I’m outnumbered.
