So, my cat can be in the deepest sleep—like, full-on loaf mode, paws tucked, snoring softly. But the second I so much as think about opening a snack, she’s up. Eyes wide, tail twitching, suddenly acting like she hasn’t eaten in years. It’s honestly impressive. I could drop a pin and she’d keep snoozing, but the sound of a chip bag? Instant teleportation to the kitchen. Sometimes I wonder if she’s secretly monitoring my cravings, just waiting for her chance to pounce on a stray crumb.
