Struggling With 90° Turns: My Driving Journey So Far

Learning to drive at 34 has been way harder than I expected, especially when it comes to making sharp 90° turns. Every time I approach a corner, I worry I’ll turn too late or too sharply. Everyone keeps telling me to use the power steering, but when I’m going slow, it just doesn’t feel right. I end up throwing the wheel and feeling like I’m about to crash. What really helps is practicing in an empty parking lot, focusing on turning the wheel before I reach the corner. It’s okay to go slow and take your time. Anyone else struggle with this?
