is it weird to talk to your hydrangea every morning or is it just me?

Every morning, I catch myself chatting with my hydrangea like it’s my roommate. I swear, the more I talk to it, the happier it looks. Maybe it’s the water, maybe it’s the compliments, but those blooms are next-level this year. I started giving it a little extra mulch and making sure it gets just the right amount of shade.
