I always find myself coming to this sub from time to time and it’s always nice to know other people struggle with it as well. If you’re like me, you used to drive just fine, then suddenly the anxiety hits out of nowhere. My first panic attack behind the wheel was terrifying—I had to pull over and catch my breath, feeling totally lost. For years, I let that fear keep me from seeing loved ones and living my life. What really helped me was just getting back out there, even if it was uncomfortable. Little by little, I pushed myself to drive short distances, then longer ones.
