My Cat’s Reaction to My New Puppy = Priceless

So, I brought home a new puppy last night. My cat, who’s been the undisputed queen of the apartment for years, watched the whole scene unfold from her throne (aka the top of the fridge). At first, she looked at me like I’d just committed high treason. The puppy, meanwhile, was all tail wags and clumsy excitement, trying to make friends with literally everything—including the vacuum cleaner. Fast forward an hour: I catch the cat sneaking up to sniff the puppy while he’s napping. She pretends she’s not interested, but I swear I saw her little nose twitch. Now they’re both curled up on the couch, pretending not to care about each other. But I know this is the start of a legendary friendship (or at least a truce).
