My Cat’s Hilarious First Beach Day

So, I thought taking my cat, Mochi, to the beach would be a wholesome bonding experience. Spoiler: it was chaos. Mochi, who acts like she owns my apartment, turned into a dramatic Victorian lady the second her paws touched sand. She leapt straight onto my shoulder, yowling like I’d dropped her into lava. Then came the waves. She stared at the ocean like it was a giant, wet monster sent to ruin her life. I tried to coax her closer with treats—she glared at me, then at the sea, then back at me, as if to say, “You betray me.” We lasted seven minutes. Now she’s back home, glaring at the sand stuck in her fur, plotting revenge. But hey, at least I got a selfie of us looking equally traumatized. Would I do it again? Absolutely not.
