Bononi Bows Out: No TV Comeback Plans

Big news for fans of The Brazilian Brute—Cezar Bononi says he’s officially stepping away from TV wrestling. After runs in NXT and AEW Dark, Bononi told Denise Salcedo he’s loving life as a fitness coach and doesn’t miss the grind or the toll wrestling took on his body. He’s still picking his spots for indie matches (especially for his son!), but don’t expect to see him back on weekly TV.
