The HR department asked us to work 2 to 3 days a week at the company. I want them to reimburse my transportation expenses.🤔

After three years of thriving in remote work, I’m baffled. My team’s productivity is up, our work-life balance is the best it’s ever been, and my boss is totally supportive—as long as we get our work done, we can work from anywhere. Now, HR is suddenly pushing for a new policy: everyone back in the office 2-3 days a week. I’m not against seeing coworkers in person sometimes, but being forced into a routine that wastes time and money? It just doesn’t make sense. My mental health is already taking a hit just thinking about the commute and the office noise. Why are we being dragged back to a less efficient way of working? Has anyone else faced this?
