I (28m) just won a crazy amount of money on a game show—enough to put a fat down payment on a house. My girlfriend (25f) and I have been together for three years, and we always said we'd buy a house together...someday, when we both had enough saved. But now that I have the cash, I told her I'd buy the house and only put my name on the deed since I'm paying for everything. She called me unfair and said we should both be on the deed because we planned to buy together. I said I'm happy to wait until she can contribute her half, but if we buy now, it's my money, my risk, my house. She says that's selfish. Am I missing something here?
