Went for Car Repairs, Came Home with a Dog

So, I walked into the auto shop expecting to leave with four new tires. Instead, I left with four tires AND a four-legged mystery. The mechanic handed me this wiggly puppy like it was a complimentary air freshener. No explanation, just, "He needs a home. You look like you could use a friend." Now I’m staring at this adorable furball who’s either a lab, a bear cub, or some kind of canine cryptid. He’s already chewed through my shoelaces and tried to eat a sock. Not sure if I should thank the universe or start puppy-proofing my entire apartment. Anyone else ever end up with a pet in the most random way possible? Also, lab experts—does this guy look like he’s got some lab in him, or am I about to discover a whole new breed?
