stunning volcano view, but is it worth the hassle?

We finally made it to Ometepe Island after a bumpy ferry ride that left us both a little seasick. Our AirBnB promised a "spectacular view of Volcán Concepción," and I have to admit, waking up to that massive volcano right outside our window was something special. The clouds drifted over the peak, and the morning light made everything look magical. But here’s the thing: getting here was a real ordeal. We spent nearly an hour waiting for the ferry, then another 30 minutes driving on pothole-filled roads. And don’t get me started on the mosquitoes—my arms look like a connect-the-dots puzzle! I keep wondering if the view is really worth all this trouble, especially since the WiFi barely works and the nearest grocery store is a 20-minute drive away. Has anyone else gone out of their way for a great view, only to question if it was worth the effort? Sometimes I feel like these "hidden gems" are more trouble than they’re worth, but then I look out the window and start to doubt myself.
