Should I Forgive After Betrayal?

So, here’s my mess: I (25F) broke up with my boyfriend (26M) after he broke my trust, and now he wants me back. We dated for over a year, and while things started great, the last month was chaos. He’d always say he loved me, but then I found out he was texting another girl during our brief breakup. He swore it was innocent, but then admitted they kissed. He apologized, wrote me letters, and blamed stress and family drama. We’ve started talking again, and I still have feelings, but I can’t shake the feeling that he never really tried to connect with my interests. I always supported his hobbies, but he never cared about mine. He’s asking for another chance, but I’m scared I’ll just get hurt again. Anyone else been here?
