why are good japan travel videos so hard to find?

I spent my whole afternoon yesterday searching for decent travel videos about Japan on YouTube. I was hoping to get some real tips or at least hear someone talk about their experiences, but almost every video was just endless shots of people eating ramen or silent walks through crowded streets. Seriously, I watched a guy eat sushi for 25 minutes without saying a single word—by the end, I was more hungry than informed! Is it just me, or are most of these channels just showing off food and scenery with no real stories or advice? I want to hear about what went wrong, what surprised them, or even what annoyed them about traveling in Japan. I remember when travel shows actually taught you something or made you laugh, not just made you wish you had their lunch. If anyone knows a channel where the host actually talks, shares honest opinions, and maybe even lives in Japan, I’d love to hear about it.
