Why We Chose to Redshirt Our Daughter: A Family Decision

After much discussion and soul-searching, we decided to redshirt our daughter and give her an extra year before starting kindergarten. It wasn’t an easy choice, but we wanted her to feel confident and ready—socially, emotionally, and academically. Watching her blossom at her own pace this past year has reassured us that we made the right decision for our family.
