is rattlesnake ledge really worth the early morning rush?

We landed in Seattle after a long, cramped flight—my knees still ache just thinking about it. Instead of heading to the hotel to freshen up, we drove straight to Rattlesnake Ledge. I was honestly hoping for a quick breakfast and maybe a nap, but everyone insisted this hike was a must-do. We got there just as the sun was coming up, and the parking lot was already filling up with people who looked way more prepared than we were. I was still in my travel clothes, clutching a lukewarm coffee, and wondering if I’d regret skipping sleep for a view. The trail was steeper than I expected, and I kept thinking, "Who actually enjoys hiking right after a flight?" My legs were protesting every step, but the scenery was beautiful—mist rolling over the trees, birds chirping, and that fresh mountain air. Still, I couldn’t help but wonder if I’d rather be in bed. Have you ever pushed yourself to do something everyone says is amazing, only to question if it’s really worth the hype? I’m torn—part of me loved the view, but another part just wanted a hot shower and a real breakfast. Does anyone else feel like some of these ‘must-see’ spots are better in theory than reality, especially when you’re tired? #SeattleHikes #TravelStruggles #RattlesnakeLedge #Travel
