Ever spent an entire coffee date analyzing every laugh and side glance? That was totally me this Saturday, sitting across from Jamie at our favorite little café. She was all smiles, sharing her blueberry muffin, and even remembered how I take my coffee. My heart did a little flip—until I saw her do the same with the barista and the couple next to us. Was I reading too much into it, or was this just her being her friendly self? Instead of letting my brain run wild, I decided to lean in—laughed a bit louder, met her eyes a little longer, and casually asked if she wanted to check out the new art exhibit with me next weekend.
